Virginia Hernandez, Miss Panamá Centro, was crowned Miss World Panamá 2013 or Miss Panama Mundo 2013 on January 8, 2013 at the Atlapa Convention Center, Ciudad de Panamá.
The beauty from Ciudad de Panamá is 22 years old and stands 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in). She will represent Panama in the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant, scheduled to take place in Indonesia on September 14, 2013.

The Miss Panamá Mundo pageant will be held at the Atlapa Convention Center, Ciudad de Panamá, Panama, on January 8, 2013. About 10 contestants from all over Panamá will compete for the prestigious title. This year by decision of the international Miss World Organization, the election of the new global sovereign will be held in a separate competition to the traditional national election.Maricely González Miss Panamá World 2012 will be crown her successor at the end of the event.

AGE : 26 HEIGHT: 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) HOMETOWN: Panama City BIO Stephanie Vander Werf was born and raised in Panama City. With a mother from Panama and a father from Argentina, Stephanie got to travel every summer with her family. No matter where they were, her family spent their Sundays having lunch and watching soccer games. Today she enjoys yoga, reading, dancing, and swimming with her father. Stephanie also spends her time working in her family's restaurants. IN HER OWN WORDS I believe that we can always learn something new every time we meet someone new.  Every opportunity I get, whether on a bus or a plane or even in an elevator, there’s always something I can hear that will add something new to my life. FUN FACTS Stephanie’s dream job is to one day own a newspaper, radio show, and TV channel that covers today’s news. Stephanie has degrees in Advertising, PR, and Management. At the age of 15, Stephanie got to interview Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy for a television program.
