Some fundamental questions

1. If you believe in a God, can you in all humility say that His creation is so seriously flawed that it must be kept hidden? Did He get it so wrong that each and every one of us must hide at every point in case someone else, equally flawed, might just see us? Of course one cannot look to organised religion to answer this question as you will get widely differing answers, you must decide for yourself.
2. Have you knowingly or otherwise taught your children they should be ashamed of their bodies. If so, did you question these teachings or have you simply accepted them? If so, why?
3. If you do not believe in a God, does the power of religious belief in maintaining the always dressed meme have any relevance to your life? Are you happy to accept the result of other people's religion without question?
4. If you believe that always being dressed is "the norm", would you consider the norm to change over time? Most realise the "norm" does change but few think about the means by which it changes. If you are convinced by the intellectual case for nudity, what would your reaction be to seeing a nude person at your local swimming bath or working in their garden? These are the people who are the engine of change, are they wrong?
