Miss USA 2013, Erin Brady of Connecticut

Miss USA 2014 will be the 63rd Miss USA pageant. It will be held at the Trump Doral Golf Resort in Miami, Florida. The current Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady of Connecticut will crown her successor at the end of the event. All fifty states and the District of Columbia will be competing.

The new Beauty Miss USA Qeen will represent the United States of America at Miss Universe 2014. If new Miss USA 2014 wins the Miss Universe title, she will become the Nineth titleholder form USA to crown the title of Miss Universe.

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera is a Venezuelan-American Fashion Designer. She has dressed many First Ladies and that includes Michella Obama.
This lady has a long list of achievements to her name.

2008 - Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America
2004 - Womenswear Designer of the Year.

Her facebook page has a very beautiful and selfless quote that goes :

“I have a responsibility to the woman of today – to make her feel confident, modern and above all else beautiful.” - Carolina Herrera

This is her newest 2013 collection of eye wear. Some of them are so classy and elegant that I cannot take my eye off them.

Palace on Wheels

Palace on wheels is a luxury train of India. Luxury Rails have come a long way in India , since 1982. It was launched to promote tourism in Rajasthan.

The train had to be made more beautiful and upgraded to present standards . Hence in 2009 we heard it all over the news about Palace on Wheels.
Soon it took it's place as the 4th most luxurious trains in the world.

India was a land of Kings and Queens. This concept of Luxury Train or Palace on Wheels was derived from back in the days when the rulers from Rajputhana, Gujarat, Nizams etc toured in such coaches.
The interiors of the train which are splendid and does true justice to the royal history of India are done by Delhi based designer , Monica Khanna.

The train boasts of luxurious cabins with splendid carpets, a well stocked bar, door to door service. The train has 14 coaches each named after the former Rajput States, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Bundi, Dholpur, Dungargarh, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Kota, Sirohi and Udaipur.

The train starts from New Delhi and during its eight day journey, travels around Rajasthan . The punch line of the Palace on Wheels goes as "A week in wonderland".

Though the train boasts of Luxury it's website is so plain and regular.
A country like India which has umpteen number of software engineers developing the best of the best websites hosts a website that looks straight out of 7th standard website project.

India's Largest Mall - LuLu Mall

LuLu International Shopping mall is the largest mall located in Kochi, Kerala in India. It's built on 17 acres and at a cost of Rs 1,600 Crores . LuLu Mall is constructed and maintained by EMKE Group with interest in UAE, Africa , Asia. This mall was opened on March 10, 2013 . It has 300 outlets for food, clothing , entertainment with the largest ice skating rink and 12 lane bowling alley.
It has premium international brands of luxury, food courts, coffee shops. The ice rink is supposed to be one of it's kind in South India.

In it's premises is a 20 storey, premium 5 star, 300 room hotel managed by JW Marriot Group which will offer royal suites and executive rooms competing and meeting international standards. It provides privileged club facility, swimming pool, multi cuisine restaurants which will be irresistible for the luxury bugs.

2013 London WNBR was superb

The 2013 London WNBR was superb, well organised and very well attended, so many thanks to the organisers. Previous rides had about 1,200 riders, this year it looked like more. There were certainly more people in London looking on and as usual, their reaction was outstanding. No sign of people being upset, alarmed, distressed or even mildly put off by so many nude people. Rather I saw smiles and happy faces, children being ushered to get a better view and I heard plenty of cheers and shouts of encouragement. A good number stripped off and joined in including at least two tourist rickshaw riders and their passengers.

The ride ended at about the time that a large demonstration in Hyde Park was breaking up so all the nude riders mixed with those people in the fairly small area around Wellington Arch, making it fairly crowed for an open space. The scene was amazing, people standing around chatting, dressed and nude together. Everything looked completely relaxed, just how those of us who prefer life nude would like it. Shame that aspect of the day was short-lived.

For anyone who has not taken part in one of the rides, just do it. You cannot say there were a lot of photographers, almost everyone was a photographer and that includes the riders! In that respect it is not an event for those fearful of being photographed, but as so many photos were taken, the chance of a photo of you being seen is remote indeed. Some photographers paid more attention to the women but most of these women just smiled back, after all, there is nothing wrong with being nude. I estimate that at least 100,000 people lined the route and in places the sea of onlookers was very large, so these rides are not for those fearful of being seen nude. The other side of that is our desire to make nudity normal, completely acceptable in society, so it would be rather silly to take the view that being seen is to be avoided. I take the view that being nude in a very crowded London is an effective means to spread the idea that nudity is good, wholesome and not a threat to the fabric of society.

As the rides are demonstrations about using less oil and the need to have more bike lanes etc., one aim is to choke the traffic. That we certainly did, so much so that at times the ride stopped for quite long periods, completely blocking important roads like Piccadilly. That meant the bystanders had a good chance to look, walk through the stationary riders to cross the road, engage in conversation, take photos etc. but above all to drink in the scene, lots of nude people in one of the principal cities of the world. As many were tourists, the message of their holiday in London will go right round the world, a message that people can be sincere, peaceful and be having fun, yet be quite nude.
